Australia | The Transcend Tour: Breaking New Ground in the Built Environment

| Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane

The built environment will look radically different in ten years. As we look towards the future, it can be difficult to forecast just what this will look like and when the transformation will take place. There are many questions being asked such as:

  • Will the manufacturing industry enter construction?
  • Are the tech giants looking to disrupt the built environment?
  • Will design be automated?
  • Will technology impact the built environment?

Transcend will demonstrate that the answer to each of these is yes. This initiative by the Design Futures Council is designed to cast light on the future of practice, bringing to Australia two global leaders who are re-shaping the built environment.

Transcend Sydney will be held on July 2, 2019 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (AEST) at Holding Redlich. For more information and to register for the Sydney event, go here.

Transcend Melbourne will be held on July 4, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (AEST) at Colin Biggers Paisley. For more information and to register for the Melbourne event, go here.

Transcend Brisbane will be held on July 5, 2019 from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. (AEST) at Holding Redlich. For more information and to register for the Brisbane event, go here.

**As Dr. Forest Flager was unable to attend this event series, a series of events titled Transcend 2.0 will take place during the week of September 16-20th. Please note Sydney and Melbourne are sold out; we will not be accepting additional registrations and the events will not be publicly promoted. Attendees will be contacted directly with details for the event. If a registered attendee is unable to make it, a substitute will be allowed in place. Thank you for your understanding.
